Will Martial Arts make my child more aggressive?
We get this question a lot.  We have found that martial arts actually makes children less likely to participate in aggressive behaviour....Even if they have a history of being aggressive.

The students get SO focused on earning and acheiving higher levels that they abandon aggressive behaviour.  We actually try to install an 'On / Off' switch in the minds of our students.  For example, when playing other sports, aggressivness is required to excel (like football or soccer).  However, they have to establish that mindset while ON THE FIELD.  When they are OFF the field, they have to go back to a well behaved person.

Generally speaking, no martial art encourages aggressive behaviour.  Martial arts encourages self control and mastery of the self.
